Ladies Night Out

     Tonight... is Ladies Night at Calumet Photographic Oak Brook from 5-9 p.m.  I am very excited to be a part of this event which lets women get a chance to have a night out with friends and come relax and learn some techniques on how to photograph right before the Holidays!  We will be giving away numerous prizes including cameras, camera bags, gift cards and even a donation on behalf of myself. 

    Archivers Scrapbooking Company, Tastefully Simple and Bleeding Heart Bakery and Cafe will all be joining us for this fun-filled evening.  I look forward to seeing everyone there!

A Vision

Even though the seasons have changed, the beauty hasn't left.  I wondered outside on this cloudy Sunday morning in the midwest, camera in hand, to find the beauty that awaited out my back door.  The winds were pretty harsh, but the temperature was not.  A little brightness for your day and wishing everything turns out ok.

     It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog, let alone have time to post something on my blog. It's hard when work is in the way and there is no time to go anywhere or photograph anything.

     So, I looked back at my Maine images with a fresh set of eyes (since it has been 2 months already), and decided to pick a photo and post it.  After a little tweaking I decided to post the before and after to see what you think.
